Here is an (almost) complete install sequence for BeOS PE Max v4b1 in picture form:

Loading up...

First screen of the installer.

Install selection. I only tried the first option.

No, I do not want to play a game. I want to take pictures of the install process!

The EULA. It's long and I didn't read it. I'm sure it was fine anyway.

The partitioner. It sucks. It can't create or delete partitions, only format over them. And it does that badly.

Installing... This took a while. "Finishing Install" took about 20 minutes :S

Installed, but using 8-bit colour here. Had to work out how to switch to 16bit.

16-bit, and it looks really neat :D It's responsive, has everything I need and there may be a wireless card in the post soon!
That’s it for my BeOS adventures today. Next up I need to get a proper graphics chip driver installed and working and set up the internet.
